Volunteer Orientation

Wow, volunteer orientation was a success....
Thank you to everyone who came out and took the time to get to know the place. All the horses seemed quite happy to be getting all this attention.

With all those volunteers, pictures would be nice...

Hint, hint...

How will the horses be placed once the time comes? And how long before start looking for homes?

I live in Manitoba. But by mid summer may have an extra place for one of them (to foster) if needed.

I'm getting pictures sent to me... I unfortunately seem to be camera illiterate (I almost always forget to bring one to any important occasion)...
I cannot be specific on when we will be placing the horses. Some have the good possibility, the worst ones will likely not be for 6 months or more...
We will have a placement committee that will review all the applications, and we are still working on the logistics of the placement process.. right now our number one if getting the horses healthy

I'm in Newfoundland. Was so sad and appalled to hear about the horses. Then happy to hear about their rescue!! :) You guys are great. Sure wish I was closer so we could get down there and give you guys a hand. When I go to the barn and look at our horses, I just shake my head in wonder that anyone could neglect or abuse them. Was sad to hear about the other animals as well. Does anyone know what happened to them??

I am so glad you guys are taking care of them! I too would like to know what is going to happen with adoption. I am over in Ontario, but definitely have room for something sound to ride - I can train it no problem.
